Founder & iOS Engineer
EXAD
A native iOS marketplace for exotic, adrenaline-fueled adventures and extreme sports — discovery, booking, and provider tooling in one app.
- App Store
- shipped & live
- Marketplace
- two-sided
EXAD is a native iOS marketplace I founded for exotic, adrenaline-fueled adventures and extreme sports — the project where I went deep on building and shipping a real, two-sided product on the App Store, end to end.
The problem
Booking genuinely extreme experiences — think skydiving, supercar track days, heli-adventures — is fragmented and trust-poor. EXAD set out to be a single, curated marketplace where adventurers discover vetted experiences and providers manage listings and bookings.
What I built
As founder, I built the product end to end: a native iOS client in Swift and SwiftUI — discovery and search, rich experience-detail screens, the booking flow, real-time chat, maps, a custom camera, deep links, push notifications, and cached images — on a Firebase backend. I wired up Stripe Connect payments through a Node.js layer, automated transactional emails, and designed the branding with custom SF Symbols and Figma/Photoshop.
What I took away
EXAD taught me how a production iOS app actually ships — App Store review, release management, payment integration, and the discipline of building a polished two-sided marketplace where both buyers and providers depend on the same app.
